Booking deposits vary from £50 to £200
Booking deposits are paid to ensure clients turn up to their appointments
They are refunded by cheque within 14 days of attendance at the studio, unless they are used as part of an order.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations clients have 7 days in which to claim a refund of the booking deposit, provided it is put in writing and received at The Blue Rooms, 115 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 6QH , e-mailed to appointments@thebluerooms.net or faxed to 02076813548.
If a booking is made for a time within 7 days, then the client would need to waive their rights under the Distance Selling Regulations as the booking is prior to the expiry of the 7 day cooling off period.
All clients under the age of 22 must be accompanied by a parent, unless cleared with the studio management.
If you fail to show, or cancel your appointment less than 3 working days before your appointment in writing, you will be charged the studio hire fee of £135.
You may only rebook your appointment up to a week before the appointment, thereafter a further £50 deposit will need to be taken and added to the existing £50 deposit.
Photographic Purchases
Images are only given when the full balance is paid.
All images are sold on a CD Rom
All purchases are for the intellectual property rights to copyrighted images.
Clients can use the images as they see fit once they have completed all payments. Until such time the studio owns the copyright.
Once a client has left the premises with the copyrighted images, the studio is unable to issue a refund.
All retouching is free of charge and as such is done at the studios discretion.
